What To Do
Players sit in a circle and one person is chosen to be the detective. This person then leaves the room.
A conductor is then chosen. This person decides on an action and beat. For example, clapping hands, clicking fingers, tapping head and everyone copies them.
The detective is then brought in and stands in the centre of the circle and moves around from that centre. He tries to guess who the conductor is. He has three guesses. If he guesses correctly he can stay in again, otherwise a new conductor and detective are chosen.
The conductor must change the beat regularly. Players are not to look in the conductors direction. Players must copy the conductor, not make up any of their own actions to trick the detective.
VARIATION: Encourage the conductor to be creative with his actions. Sound and voices
can also be used.
