Points of Contact

What To Do

Explain to the group that there are nine ‘points’ of the body that can touch the floor in this game – two feet, two hands, two elbows, two knees and one forehead.

Ask the players to work by themselves initially.

The idea is that you call a number up to nine and each player must touch the floor with that number of points.

Once players are confident working individually, ask them to work in pairs, then groups of 3, 4 and so on.

Progress to a number that means that some of the group will have to be carried or lifted by others!

This game encourages group co-operation.
