Therese Hoyle has over 25 years’ teaching experience in mainstream, special and higher education. She is the founder and Head Facilitator of Therese Hoyle Consultancies. Since 1996 Therese has worked nationally and internationally with over 495 schools and organisations and with more than 15,400 individuals inspiring them with Positive Playtime, Circle Time, Coaching Circles, Positive Parenting, Positive Behaviour Management, Emotional Literacy and Leadership Coaching programmes.
Her work in schools has been featured in a UK DfES, BBC Anti Bullying Video, the national press, New Zealand’s Education Gazette, Optimus Educations Insight Magazine, Innovate my School. She is a feature writer for Teacher’s Matter Magazine, Australasia and is a regular guest speaker on podcasts and in the media.
From 2002- 2009, Thérèse was instrumental in taking Circle Time to New Zealand, where she launched the Flourishing Schools programme nationally and received a wealth of acclaim for her work.
Therese has a passion for creating positive and harmonious school cultures and for supporting children and adults in reaching their full and true potential.
She designs and delivers bespoke training programmes for schools and has developed a range of exciting programmes such as ‘Flourishing Schools’, ‘Coaching Circles’, ‘Powerfully Positive Playtimes’,’ Keys to Wellbeing – Balancing Work and Life’ and the ‘EduCoach,’ coach training programme.
She is also a highly sought after and professionally trained coach, mentor and coach trainer with over 21 years experience. She has held the International Coach Federation certification since 2006, is a Coach University Certified Graduate of the Advanced Coaching Programme, an Institute of Leadership Management (ILM) Level 7 accredited coach and trainer, Thrive Trained practitioner (pilot training for trainers programme) and Action Learning Set, facilitator.
In addition to being the founder of Therese Hoyle Consultancies Therese is a Specialist Consultant of VbE International, a Senior Associate Coach for Integrity Coaching, a DfE coach for the Women Leading in Education initiative and works with Optimus Education as a Wellbeing Adviser. Over lockdown, Therese founded, ‘The Education Wellbeing Collective.’ A collaborative group of wellbeing educators championing the evolution of wellbeing in schools and their communities.
Therese was appointed by Arbonne International to join their board of trustees for their charitable foundation in the UK, in 2012, the Arbonne Charitable Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to improve the confidence and self-esteem of teen boys and girls.
In 2014 Therese designed and developed a range of exciting Playtime Resources for schools with Edventure Playtime Resources Company and more recently a series of Emotional Health and Wellbeing teaching resources for Bristol City Council and Bristol Healthy Schools. In 2021 Therese gained her PCC certification with the International Coach Federation and in 2023 Therese has been recognised as one of the Top Integrity Coaches by Coach Foundation.
She is a sought after speaker at workshops and conferences nationally and internationally.
She lives in Malvern, Worcestershire with her family and dog Snowy.
